Captains report: Joju-O vs London and capital warriors

There were a number of positives to take away from our second outing at the academy, despite an unfortunate second round loss for team Joju-O.

Starting strong both Hitzy and Jermaine managed to get 2 into the back of the net in the first 20. Joey-G put in a gallant man of the match effort in goal keeping the score line level. Ivan played a strong game from the back with Farja solid around the floor, moving the ball to the front for the boys to finish.

We went into the half time break all tied at 4 all.

Unfortunately I left the half time oranges in the bottom of my bag and we came out a little slow in the 2nd Half. The opposition scored three quick goals in a matter of minutes, from here we struggled to get back in the game. We missed opportunities with a number of on goal shots which were well saved by the opposition’s goalie. Our second game as team Joju-O finishing 9-4.

Next week we will need to work on keeping up the focus and intensity for the full 40 mins if we hope to record the elusive first win (and I won't be forgetting the half time oranges). Good effort boys, well played all.

We were very unlucky, we all played well through out the match.
