Solution: We decided to position the panels away from the parapets which would cause shading in the morning. By using the latest sharp 245w panels which tesselate particularly well on this roof we were able to create a system that gave the best output from the system design. Once the design was complete, the roofing installation was fairly straightforward and was done ahead of schedule.

Rewards: The installation was particularly large considering the roof space available meaning that the householder could enjoy lots of green energy. The installation of colourful data loggers should help the children in the house to better understand solar generation and compare this to their electricity consumption.
